Drama Digest
This drama tells the story of a short-track speed skating training center coach and all the people that surround him. It follows all his family and how their relationships are with each other. And how they work to mend the scars they keep giving each other. After all, family only wants what’s best for you.
The Feel-Good Part
This drama definitely feels warm. It explores the relation of each and every member of the family with each other and showcases that how there are always ups and downs in a relationship and we are to come to terms with it in order to live life.
The Disappointing Factor
The only disappointing factor is that this drama has a large number of episodes and so, it one wants to watch it they will alternatively have to dedicate their time and attention to it. Also at times, it appears that the writers are dragging out the story more than required.
In-Depth Analysis
Cheng Yi Fan, the coach of the short-track speed skating training center. He is also the protagonist of the story. Cheng Yi Fan was surprised to discover that his ten-year-old grandson, Cheng Guo Zi, had the talent to become a short track speed skater. So, he came up with the idea of training his grandson to become a professional athlete and win a world championship. But things aren’t that simple. Their relationship has always been fraught with inconsistencies. Cheng Yi Fan wants his grandson to succeed, but Guo Zi refuses to be manipulated by his grandfather. So, he continues to resist and refuses to cooperate and throws tantrums so that his grandfather will stop pestering him. In the end, the “war” engulfed the entire family, and chaos ensues.
Star Power
The cast seems to be born for this role and do an amazing job in convincing us that they are not just acting but the role given to them is not something to be taken lightly.
Overall Opinion
This is a great family-based drama that can be enjoyed by people of all especially with one’s own family. This leaves you feeling warm and comforted throughout the time you watch it.
