Drama Digest

Nulek strongly feels that her boyfriend, Malek, isn’t who he says he is. The suspicion hurts her as she holds him up in high regard and truly loves him deeply. Her fears turn out to be true when she finds out that Mek, under the alias Warit is a member of “rachasee” (which translates to the lion) and has been getting close to Nulek just to get more information on her father Panu and his corrupt activities. Even after knowing all of this, Nulek does not want to break up with him, and Mek has to do everything to save the life of the woman he loves before he falls into the hands of terrible people, even though she refuses to see his face anymore. No love is perfect, especially when it’s filled with lies and bitterness. Will their love prevail? What will Nulek do now? Did Mek love her, and will he do everything in his power to keep her safe? An epic drama of lies, secrets, and above all, love. Watch this drama unfold and get entangled in the great story.

The Feel-Good Part

The best part of the entire drama is the story. The story has some great plot points that keep you heavily engaged, and you genuinely wish to know what happens next. There are unpredictable plot twists and deaths that keep you at the end of your seat and truly make you invested in how everything plays out. While you may start hating some characters, there is a genuinely remarkable development from them. They are not one-note characters and slowly grow to be better people throughout the show. The acting is pretty strong, and the characters have believable motives and ideas. Not one character is black and white, they are heavily complex, and you genuinely wish to see the best in all of them.

The Disappointing Factor

There are a lot of unnecessary plotlines that take away from the greatness and simplicity of the original story. It takes a lot of b plot and unnecessary exposition to get to the point of finding out who the bad guy is and why Mek deceives Nulek. While a lot of these plot points and beats are unnecessary, they are not necessarily detrimental to the enjoyment of the show. The show does not do an excellent job of incorporating music excitingly. It comes across as a bit cheesy and tongue-in-cheek most of the time. However, if you are looking for an intense story about love and deception, it manages to deliver on those fronts. It has been issued only in minor areas such as unnecessary exposition, music, and other little details.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is an excellent look at a deceptive kind of love. It can ruin your relationships and cause strain that takes so much effort to fix. But it also shows you how with good intentions, anything is possible and it can be redeemed. The characters have great chemistry, and the story, for all its unnecessary moments, remains an excellent good story.

Star Power

Sammabut Kasap directed the show, the director of other famous projects such as My Sassy Psychic, Mia Archeep, and Ruen Roi Leh. The show has good directorial choices that set it apart from other dramas and love stories. Our two main characters who are the reason why we watch the show are Mek, otherwise known as Warit, and Nulek. Job Thuchapon Koowongbundit plays an impressive role as Mek, and while he is relatively new to the acting world, he has some great moments and is a significant presence on screen. His other projects include Love Lie Hide Fake: The Series, Meo Me & You, The Miracle of Teddy Bear, Kwam Song Jum See Jang, and Black Full Moon. Preeyakarn Jaikanta, model and actress, plays Nulek. She can invoke that sense of betrayal and sadness that comes from the relationship that her husband has deceived her, and it truly is an impressive performance from start to finish. She has starred in dramas such as Krong Karm, Nang Barb, Ruen Roi Leh, and Pra Teap Rak Kanh Jai. We also have some great supporting characters who undergo a remarkable transformation from start to finish, played by Ohm Kanin Stanley, who plays Prin, Chai Chatayodom Hiranyatithi who plays Panu, Nulek’s corrupt father, Khem Laphasrada Chuaykua, who plays Chongransee, Big Sarut Vichitrananada who plays King, and many more.

Overall Opinion

The drama has a very intense story but loses track at several moments. Regardless, it remains a fun story to watch just to see if there is redemption for these characters toward the end.
