5. Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior

Released in 2003 and directed by Prachya Pinkaew, Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior is a story based in the village of Thailand where the head of the sacred buddha statue named Ong Bak gets stolen. Ting, who is exceptionally skilled in Thai martial arts, decides to get the head of the statue back to the village. He faces several challenges, goes to the big cities, visits several underground areas, and finally gets the statue head back. The movie has been rated 7.1 out of 10.


6. Beautiful Boxer

Rated 7.1 out of 10, Beautiful Boxer is a biopic of the transgender boxer Parinya Charoenphol who used to do boxing to pay for her gender reassignment surgery. Directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham, this movie was released in 2003 and the audience loved it.


7. Tropical Malady 

Tropical Malady is 118 minutes long; Drama, Fantasy, and Romance movie, divided into two parts. 6ixtynin9 translates to a funny short story about 6 and 9. It is a crime, comedy, and thriller movie. The release of the movie was in the year 1999. The story revolves around the main character named, Tum. She got fired from her bank job and had no money left. One day she finds a noodle box full of money, and decides to keep it. Later the people ask for it back. The movie has a 7.1 rating and is 118 minutes long.


9. Bangkok Traffic (Love) Story

Released in 2009, Bangkok Traffic (Love) story is a 128 minutes long, romantic comedy movie in which Mei Li is the only one unmarried in her friend group. She is trying her best to find true love. One day she meets a Bangkok Skytrain engineer, finding him suitable for herself. Directed by Adisorn Tresirikasem the movie has 7.1 rating.
