3. Welcome To Waikiki
In this series, we follow the lives of Kang Dong-Goo, Cheon Joon-Ki, and Bong-Doo-Sik. They are roommates and friends who run a guest house called Waikiki in Itaewon. Kang wants to become a director, Cheon wants to become a known actor without the help of his father and family and Bong Doo wants to become a writer. In this series, we follow Park Sae-Ro-Yi, a strong-willed high schooler. One day when Park saw his classmate bullying another student, he punched him. His classmate is Jang Geun-Won the son of the CEO Jang Dae-Hee. Jang owns a corporation named Jagga, where Park’s father works. Jang Dae demands that Sae-Ro-Yi apologize to Guen. Sae-Ro-Yi refuses to apologize, and this causes his father to be fired. Soon after Park’s father dies due to an accident which was caused by Jang Geun-Won. In this series, we follow Jang Man-Wol, CEO of Hotel Del Luna. This is a mysterious hotel in Seoul and can only be seen properly at night. Man-Wol is an old soul. His only guardian is his uncle, Sang-Gu. Sang is a cold man who used to be a martial artist. Together they continue to run the business. This series is extremely heartfelt and moving. It shows us the turbulence of life and shows us how grief can envelop life.
