1. Her Story

Her Story is a South Korea-based drama film that got released in 2018. Min Kyu-Dong directed the movie, and it starred Kim Hee-ae, Kim Hae-sook, Ye soo-Jung, Moon Sook, etc. The film's plot revolves around the ladies who once used to be comfort women for the Japanese army. It depicts the lady's fight on how they overcome the struggle of setting themselves and the other girls free from the tag of a' comfort women' through proper law and order.

 

2. Miss & Mrs. Cops

Girl Cops is a South Korea- based crime-comedy movie that got released in 2019. Jung Da-Won directed the movie, and it starred Ra Mi-ran and Lee Sung-Kyung. The film's plot revolves around a woman who used to be a top cop at the Major Crimes Unit. But, after the birth of her child, she is confined to the four walls of her house. When her sister-in-law visited, they immediately clicked together and became a team. And when they saw a woman gets run over in front of their eye, they promised themselves to find the culprit on their own.

 

3. Sunny

Sunny is a South Korean comedy-drama film that got released in 2011. Kang Hyeong-Cheol directed the movie, and it starred Shim Eun-Kyung, Kang So-Ra, Yoo Ho-Jeong, and Jin Hee-Kyung. The movie's plot revolves around a group of girls who used to be BFFs during their school days. They even named their group sunny and promised to stay together. But after getting married, all of them moved to different places, lost touch, and got busy taking care of their families. Amidst all of these, they forgot they once had a carefree life. Once, Na-Mi visited the hospital and found that Chun-Waa was terminally ill. So, she decided to gather all of their group members one last time.

 

4. Harmony

Harmony is a South Korea-based movie that got released in 2010. Kang Dae-Kyu directed the film,  and its story revolves around a woman who is imprisoned for unintentionally committing a crime because of her abusive husband and mother-in-law. She met another domestic violence victim, Jung Hye, in the prison, who is imprisoned for killing her husband. As Jung Hye was pregnant during the time of her arrest, so she gave birth in the cell. But the baby was given up for adoption. So, all her inmates created a choir group to compete in the national choir contest. So, that they can go out and meet their loved ones.

 

5. Start-Up

Start-Up is a South Korean drama series that got aired in 2020. The drama’s story revolves around two sisters, one of them had fancy background because of her stepdad, and so she is successful in life. The other one decided to stay back with her dad, who is not financially well off. But, because of her ambitious mind, determination, and never-give-up spirit, she was finally able to start her own company successfully after experiencing many failures.

 

6. Kill Heel

Kill Heel is a South Korean drama series that got released in 2022. No Do-Cheol directed the series, and its story revolves around the goals and struggles of three different women who work at the same place. It depicts how each of them has worked hard to be in the position they are in right now and still aspires to continue the race to reach further up.

Search WWW is a South Korea-based drama series that got aired in 2019. Jung Ji-Hyun and Kwon Young-il directed the series, and it starred Im Soo-Jung, Lee Da-hee, Jeon Hye-jin, Jang Ki-Yong, etc. The drama's plot revolves around three modern-age women who show why putting their career first before everything else is essential.
