The KBS Drama Awards had a lot of popular nominees even this year. The channel aired weekend dramas, everyday dramas and prime time shows. This year's hosts were Jeon Hyun Moo, Lee Hye Ri and Jung Yong Hwa.
1. Lee Seung Gi
Lee Seung Gi's Romantic Comedy 'The Law Cafe,' rose to fame for its simple story in addition to interesting cases. He won the 'Daesang' - Grand Prize for his performance in the show. This is one of the prestigious awards he has won in his career as an actor and singer.
2. Joo Sang Wook
Another 'Daesang' winner, Joo Sang Wook won it for his drama 'The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won.' The historical drama was caught in a controversy but the actor's efforts has been paid. It was a special day for the actor as his wife, actress Cha Ye Ryun, also won an award.
3. Ha Ji Won
The Top excellence award went to actress Ha Ji Won for 'Curtain Call', she shared the award with actress Park Jin Hee. Her acting was praised by both fans and critics. She also won the best couple award with her co-star Kang Ha Neul.
4. Kang Ha Neul
Kang Ha Neul won three awards in the ceremony. He won the Top Excellence Award for 'Curtain Call.' He got the best couple award with co-star Ha Ji Won. He also won the Popularity Award. Incidentally he shared two awards with EXO's D.O.
5. Park Jin Hee
Park Jin Hee was another winner of the Top Excellence Award with actress Ha Ji Won. She won the award for 'The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won.' It was a great day for the drama's team as her co-star won the 'Daesang.'
6. Doh Kyung Soo
Idol turned actor Doh Kyung Soo has an awards list similar to Kang Ha Neul. D.O. won the Top Excellence Award and the Popularity Award. He won the best couple award with his co-star Lee Se Hee. His awards are for the legal drama 'Bad Prosecutor.'
7. Kang Han Na
Kang Han Na won an Excellence Award for the first major lead role in her career. She was also nominated for many other categories. Her acting in the historical drama 'Bloody Heart,' made her receive this award, along with a best couple award.
8. Lee Joon
Bloody Heart's Lee Joon won the Excellence Award in this year's awards. His acting as a prince and later a king impressed viewers and the increased the show's popularity. He received the Best Couple award with Kang Han Na.
9. Byeon Woo Seok
Byeon Woo Seok has played supporting roles but this is his first major role in a KBS drama. He won the Best New Actor award for the historical series 'Moonshine.' Actors Lee You Jin and Chae Jong Hyeop also won the award.
10. Kang Mi Na
Kang Mi Na is the other actor from 'Moonshine' to win the Best New Actor award. This is the idol-actor's first award for acting. Actors Seohyun from 'Jinxed at First' and Jung Ji So from 'Curtain Call' also won the award.
