Drama Digest

The Akatsuki Special Ward had been under invasion by foreign organizations and is a bloody battleground where its residents caught in the crossfire are left over. The Scard—vigilantes with superhuman skills bestowed upon them by divine tattoos—emerge in the wake of the chaotic anarchy. Eiji Arashiba, the Hero of Akatsuki, defends the neighborhood from oppressive outsiders, is one of them. On a crucial day, Eiji faces off against the criminal organization Dusk with the help of Yamato Kai, a young man he had just met. During the turmoil, Yamato manages to deflect a sniper’s bullet away from Eiji, but it still hits the man’s tattoo. Eiji gives Yamato the tattoo to heal him and entrusts him with guarding the Akatsuki Special Ward in return for his sacrifice. Will Yamato be able to use his newly discovered Scard powers to protect his loved ones as the ward continues to crumble under warfare, or will he fail in his attempt to take over as the next Hero of Akatsuki?

The Feel-Good Part                   

The action scenes are excellent and spectacular. The art direction and 3D Background are fantastic in the anime series.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot of the anime series is not good enough and unique. The character development is minimal. It is neither attractive nor captivating to watch.

The “Public Security Special Service” is made up of the Scard Staff of the Metropolitan Police Department, “Artemis” is dedicated to preserving security and control while having high economic motivation, and “Helios” uses the power of tattoos to defend the city. They endure difficult days to continue. It is a Japanese anime television series directed by Shingo Suzuki. The anime series had produced by Kazuhiko Hasegawa, Fuminori Yamazaki, Hiroshi Kamei, Toshiyasu Hayashi, Yoshinori Hasegawa, and Takuya Matsumoto. It has written by Tamazu Yanagi. The music is composed by Conisch and Goon Trax. The television anime series was announced by Frontier Works on September 6, 2020. Shingo Suzuki is the show’s director. GoHands is an animation studio.
