Drama digest

Miyo Saimari is an unfortunate child of a loveless arranged marriage. After the death of her mother, her father brought in his lover and her daughter, Kaya. From that time, Miyo’s life changed to that of a servant. Kaya inherited the family’s psychic abilities; on the other hand, Miyo had none. Miyo was the daughter with no merit. She was treated like that for years, and Miyo learned to keep her head down, and obey the order given to her. She was married to Kiyoka Kudou, a military captain and it was rumored that he was cruel and he had driven away every one of his potential wives. A painful future awaits Miyo, or she thinks that way. Her husband was kind-hearted, contrary to her expectations. What was waiting for Miyo was blissful, a lasting marriage complete of happiness.

The feel-good part

The art was impressive, and every situation was expressive and impactful. It was pleasing, with nothing jaw-dropping. Miyo’s character development was actual neither too slow nor too fast. The relationship between the leads was natural.

The disappointing factor

The characters were not written with depth. I hated how Miyo always thought in a negatively. She is easily influenced by anyone.

In-depth analysis

The story is portrayed as a Cinderella scenario, but Miyo has no beauty or life skills. As the story unfolds, she discovers that there is much more to life than what her family has shown her. The world-building was done well, and fleshed out to a level you wouldn’t have expected. Miyo was portrayed realistically. The plot was compelling, and the manner in which the world is being developed left no room for much more. It was a simple and easy-to-follow story. A sad and lonely girl met a man and gained confidence. The plot became significant as the story progressed. The story progression was impressive and interactive.

Star power

The characters could have been fleshed out, but the leads were written well. The characters were believable in their actions. Miyo’s character was written in such a way that you will feel empathetic toward her.

Overall opinion

The story was enjoyable and a good watch. The way the story progressed it motivated me to be positive.
