The Feel-Good Part

Second Beat! is probably the most human season of IDOLiSH 7. We get a much better insight into the personal lives of these idols and what they go through. There is insecurity and instability that are addressed. This makes the audience root for these seven boys even more. The stunning visuals and excellent soundtrack are also back in this amazing season.

The Disappointing Factor

IDOLiSH 7 has always had problems creating tropes and stereotypes when it comes to creating characters and the members of the show. However, this season fleshes them out too much more, which fixes that problem within the show. The plot may not be overly ambitious, but it still feels nice to watch.

In-Depth Analysis

The genre of anime creating pop groups isn’t a new concept. It has existed for quite some time. But with the franchise filled with music, video games, and several seasons, the show remains grounded and wonderful to watch. This season highlights problems and issues that idols face. Issues that fans and viewers otherwise ignore.

Star Power

Our seven leads are back with a bang this season, delivering some of the best voice-acting performances. All seven original actors; Kensho Ono, Atsushi Abe, Toshiki Masuda, KENN, Yonaga Tsubasa, Takua Eguchi, Yuusuke Shirai, and Soma Saitou, reprise their roles and give us everything we need from them. We also have an incredible cast of supporting characters voiced by Souma Saitou, Wataru Hatano, Hoshi Souichirou, and so many more.

Overall Opinion

If you wish to dive deeper into the lives and characteristics of these strong individuals, understand everything they go through, and how they deal with their problems while still being popular idols, then you should definitely watch this season of IDOLiSH7.
