Drama digest:

It’s a mini-series about two robots, Gedächtnis and a robotic duchess, Drossel von Flügel, who reside in a city inhabited by robots. The series is about their war with the human race.

The feel-good factor:

The series portrays a healthy platonic relationship between a robot duchess and her servant. Though short, the series is cute and humorous in itself.

The disappointing factor:

A lot of scenes of the series are nonsense based like the two robots keep conversing in-between their war with humanity. In all, the series is too short of drawing any serious negative points from.

In-depth analysis:

The show is set in the 47th millennium. As the number itself suggests, Earth becomes a world mostly surrounded by robots. The story revolves mainly around two robots named Gedächtnis and Drossel von Flügel, who reside in a gigantic manor in a city full of robots. Far away from the city, there is a desert where human beings reside and are approaching the robotic city to declare war upon the robots. Even though both of them are robots, Gedächtnis is Drossel’s servant as well as guardian. He serves Drossel due to his swear to Drossel’s father, who was once his master. The relationship between Gedächtnis and Drossel is funny and silly. She likes to call him by any name that comes to her mind. Though both the robots are said to be at least 2800 years old, Drossel’s mind has been programmed to be like a 14-year-old girl, and that of Gedächtnis is like a 50-year-old. Both of them being robots portray almost nothing human-like. They speak in the fastest ways possible, assume one position until told to move, etc, are some of their traits. They are devoid of emotions , just like any other robot, even though they deliver emotions during certain scenes of the series. Later in the series, a third robot named Schadenfreude is introduced. Overall, the main aim of the series is to portray the fight of Gedächtnis along with Drossel against the human race.

Star power:

Both the robots on whom the show is based are charming, adorable, silly, and funny. Their relationship is the best to look at that.

Overall review:

Even though the show portrays war, it is pretty positive. The nuances of the relationship between a princess and her servant/assistant are heart-warming and humor-filled to look at.
