Drama Digest

Retsuko hates her job and gets frustrated with her daily life in general. She offers even to take one day at a time, and the frustration and anger get into a boiling point when she just can’t hold her composure anymore. She goes to the karaoke bar and vents her emotions to death metal music, which she likes and prefers to listen to. She is a 25-year-old red panda who has been working for the accounting department for a trading company in Tokyo. She had since working there for five years.

The Feel-Good Part

The explanations of each storyline to the audience is intricate and interesting. The sets and locations where the animation takes place are lovely and scenic. The apparel and the aesthetics of each anime character and the music used for the anime is well-executed. This show is unbelievably high quality, with the editing done slightly different than the other anime made like this. Some scenes displayed in the drama bring out more flashbacks and nostalgia to specific characters of the previous seasons.

The Disappointing Factor

Despite being an interesting show, the drama is not new enough to excite the audience. The story gets confusing and difficult to relate to once it goes into the pains and frustrations of being a working professional. Some parts of the story are over-dramatic and overhyped. Some characters are too controversial. The synergy and companionship between Heida and Retsuko felt incomplete.

In-Depth Analysis

Inspired by the real struggle these professionals face in real life, this show is heartwarming. The animation and visuals for the show are well made. The acting is applaudable, and the music is well-executed. The characters are adorable with funny dialogues and solid acting. The overall crux of the story is very fun and amazing to watch, with the seriousness kept alive in their respective positions. The cast is impressive and attractive.

Star Power

They have showcased real emotions on the stage, which speaks to the audience the most. The audience has perceived this drama as unconventional and different from the rest. The considerable time gap taken between each episode says of improvement in graphics, storyline and animation with every episode. While the other dramas mainly glorify how amazing manga is, this series doesn’t take that path. it takes instead a lonely way of showcasing the struggle to find meaningful life habits to incorporate.

Overall Opinion

Someone who wishes to watch a fun and comical take on life will love the series.
