TV Show Digest

The NCT members have reservations to the Dream restaurant for a feast with a twist as they have to play games for their meals. The show consists of tasks and games which will lead to rewards in the forms of delicious meals and other privileges. They have different games for each level as appetizers, soups, main courses, desserts, and coffee. The winners in every round also get to give out tasks to other idol members. At last, they also get to evaluate and review the meal courses with stars.

The Feel-Good Part

The show had a sweet and unique concept. The tone of this show was always uplifting and easygoing. The small gathering act at the start was also hilarious to watch. The competitive and teasing behavior with fun kid’s games was entertaining. All the guests got different meals according to their performance in the task and games, which formed a hierarchical system. It was fun to watch the revealing of their food from the first place to the last. Bottle cap game, finger flicking, and balloon pop were some amusing games played in this show. Some members helped the others while others betrayed their friends.

The Disappointing Factor

The games could have been more challenging with difficult levels to make them more entertaining content. This show could have used better editing that might have lifted the liveliness of the show.

In-Depth Analysis

The show is about the NCT group members as they have got invited to a full course meal at the Dream restaurant. This show displays the survival lessons in some ways. All of them get their meals according to their performances in tasks and games. The winners get A-level meal courses, privileges, and powers. The games are standard kids level, yet the competition makes it challenging for our members to compete. The food menu for each member got decided through 99% luck and 1% skills. In the end, they also had to review their meals based on their experience of the food. The show had betrayal and alliances that gave weight to the competition. In the end, though, some were happy, some were sad about the result, but still, everyone enjoyed it till the end.

Star Power

Mark Lee, Huang Ren Jun, Lee Je No, He Chan, Na Jae Min, Zhong Chen Le, and  Park Ji Sung from the NCT boy group are starring in this show.

Overall Opinions

It was an interesting idea for a variety show which landed perfectly. It was exciting to watch the members compete for food sometimes with the friendly atmosphere made it seem like a get-together or a reunion. It shows playful vibes were the strong point of this show. Fooling around and making fun of each other was the ultimate high point. All in all, it is a perfect watch for NCT fans.
