The Big Band Season 2 is a Chinese competitive reality show that aired in 2020 and is the second season of the reality show series The Big Band. The show follows the format of having bands irrespective of age and labels, competing with each other. The performances on the show are not only pleasing to the ears but also to the eyes because of its top-notch cinematography. The standard of the competition is quite a high level because of the high qualifying bands, which results in a top-notch musical performance. The bands perform original songs as well as covers of songs, which are most of the time re-written and reformed by the bands. The best part about this reality show is that a mini segment is dedicated to the bands which shows their history as a band.

Ma Dong, Zhang Wei, and Wowkie Zhang are the main hosts of the reality show. The participants of the show includes, Li Yi Bang, Ye Shao Fei, Zheng Guang Liang, Xu Wei Jjun, and many others.

Overall Opinion

The Big Band Season 2 consists of a variety of rock bands, some of them were formed in 1995 while contracting to this, there are also bands formed in 2019. The show is original and creative, with high production value and most importantly extraordinary music. If you are a fan of rock and roll, or even interested in music, you cannot miss this reality show!
