The Feel-Good Part

Though it starts as a simple story, the little details as the story goes on are very good. Most of the scenes are very realistic and touching.

The Disappointing Factor

Some people might find this story plain and boring, but it is full of realistic moments with a slow pace which makes them significant.

In-Depth Analysis

This film reflects the autobiographical elements of director Min Jae Cho. This film portrays rare and delicate emotions through the life of Jin Moo and his family. They are awkward at first and when Jin Moo tells them that he had to go through critical brain surgery and that he might lose his memories. This awkwardness disappears as we learn more about them. The scenes of the family members made so much sense and were very much like a real family, including Jin Moo’s relationship with his brother. These moments feel real, not like a fantasized version of a family. Memories are what make a person identify himself. Jin Moo gets overwhelmed as he learns that he might lose his memories. To overcome this and remember himself after the surgery he records all his precious memories. This film shows reality, like the awkward scenes, we all know people change as they become adults and move on from their families to their own life. This can be observed during those awkward moments between Jin Moo and his family. It is a touching story.

Star Power

Every one of the cast did a great job, and the acting is very captivating with perfectly realistic scenes.
