The feeling of adventure is the essence of life. Mari, a curious girl has all these questions that don’t have answers. She is the daughter of a goblin hunter. As she was roaming around the mountain she came across a goblin named Yi Mae. She saves him as she pities him.

They became friends, and Mari would give food to Yi Mae. One day, she realizes why her father hunts goblins. Yi Mae’s eyes are worth a lot of gold. She ran away from her father

She decides to join Yi Mae on an adventure to search the goblin village, but through her journey, Mari’s guilt seeps in. Seeing Mari in that state Yi Mae who is in debt to her is willing to pull out his eyes for her. Where will their journey lead them?

The Feel-Good Part

It’s a dark tale with twists. The goblin’s desire to keep Mari happy is quite sad too. The movie is quite engaging and has a deep meaning to it.

The Disappointing Factor

The ending part of the movie is confusing and leaves you wondering what it meant.

In-Depth Analysis

The movie shows how greedy people can get, and how everything revolves around money. The movie also shows that being selfish never ends up well.

Star Power

Park Yong who played Ji Cheol did a good job at being the villain, and Lee Yi Dam as Mari did an amazing job with expressions. The goblin played by Kang Seong Hwa named Yi Mae is a character who is selfless and wants Mari to be happy. Director Won Ji Ho did a superb job with the depth and presentation of the documentary.

Overall Opinion

Despite being mesmerizing and having a meaningful message, the movie’s ending may leave some viewers confused.
