Movie Digest

A high school girl commits suicide. Jung Jun Hyuk, a job seeker, and Choi Sung Min, a police trainee, are her neighbors and become suspicious of the incident. They team up with Kim Nu Ri, a hacker, to investigate the case and track her SNS. While examining, her last SNS message was from an unknown user. The message from an anonymous user led to multiple suicides and various uncontrollable consequences.

The Feel-Good Part

This movie portrayed various social and mental issues. It also shows how these issues are prevailing in the present.

The Disappointing Factor

The script and direction were not strong. It felt like the director was not confident in filming certain scenes. The story needed little fine-tuning.

In-Depth Analysis

The basic idea of the movie was from Blue Whale Challenge. The director has a sharp eye for societal satire. It also gave us a fresh take on the dramatic tales of people. In this movie, the high school girl’s suicide was linked to an SNS message saying, “What is the significance of your life?” This message led to many other suicides. Jung Jun Hyuk, Choi Sung Min, and Kim Nu Ri together investigate to find out the truth and the killer behind it. Their investigation leads to many consequences. This movie does not have anything special to point out, but it does make a lot of sense to our world.

Star Power

Kim Sung Chul (Jung Jun Hyuk), Lee Si-eon (Choi Sung Min), and Heo Ga Yoon (Kim Nu Ri) were great trio that was fascinating to watch. This team did a good job convincing us of their struggling young adult life.

Overall Opinion

This movie focuses on social issues like many other movies. It is somewhat relatable, but it is not very remarkable. Overall, it is a one-time watch movie!
