Movie Digest
The movie follows both on land and on air as chaos, fear, and confusion spread on the plane in the air in which the staff happens to find a passenger dead. This thus leads to an investigation by the people on the land coordinating with the plane staff in order to ensure the safety of the staff and passengers on the plane.
The Feel-Good Part
The story definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. One will definitely remain curious throughout the movie because it makes you feel like so. The movie has a stellar cast that adds to the story.
The Disappointing Factor
The only disappointing fact about this is the release of the movie which kept on shifting and as a result the hype it gained for premiering in Cannes ended and people lost their interest in watching it.
In-Depth Analysis
When senior police investigator In Ho (Song Kang Ho) receives information that someone is making terrorist threats against an upcoming aircraft, he immediately launches an investigation. As soon as he realizes the threats are true, In Ho makes a frantic attempt to catch the terrorist before he can attack. In Ho, on the other hand, has no such luck and can only watch in dread as Korean aircraft 501 takes off from Incheon Airport bound for Hawaii. Jin Seok (Im Siwan), a bioterrorist on board the airline, loses no time in unleashing a lethal virus into the atmosphere. Within hours, the first of Jin Seok’s victims die, triggering a wave of panic that quickly escalates into anarchy as additional people take ill. A former pilot and unsung hero Jae Hyuk (Lee Byung Hun) and his daughter are among those stuck on this tragic trip. When Jae Hyuk steps in to rescue the suffering crew, he finds himself in the role of hero for the first time. Meanwhile, on the ground, Transport Minister Sook Hee (Jeon Do Yeon) establishes a terrorist task force and teams up with Detective In Ho in a last-ditch effort to prevent additional calamity. Will they be able to safely land this airliner, or have the passengers’ fates already been determined?

The stellar cast proves their skills in this movie and showcases their amazing chemistry that is second to none which makes this movie one of the best releases of its time.
Overall Opinion
One should definitely not skip out on watching such a masterpiece. From the cast to the story nothing falls short of perfection.
