Two people in desperation set on a dangerous mission. One is a North Korean defector who recently made his home in South Korea. He is perplexed by his brother, who separated during the process of defecting. Due to his criminal history and difficulty finding employment, Ji Hyeok, a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant, wants to leave Korea as soon as possible. Ji Hyeok is engaged in a risky drug delivery mission and advises intercepting billions of won’s worth of methamphetamine to gather money for his defector brother.

The Feel-Good Part

The film’s lead actor is genuinely captivating, which sustains interest throughout the rest of the production. This movie gives a realistic representation of what people will do when they’re in a tight spot. Even though what the protagonists are doing is wrong, this movie makes us want them to have a happy ending.

The Disappointing Factor

The Dreamer is another such movie that makes it hard to feel disappointed. The only factor that might feel wrong in this film could be that it shows the main characters doing something illegal.

In-Depth Analysis

Even though the two men are in different circumstances, they are both unhappy and desperate. They came up with the notion of earning money illegally while consuming drugs, demonstrating their continued optimism. As the title suggests, they are both still wondering how to escape a terrible position. Throughout their lives, the characters have faced various obstacles, some of which were brought on by their own mistakes, while times, they thought that life was unfair to them.
