‘Don’t go too far’ is a Korean movie about a rich family and their inheritance issues. The sudden death of the father led to the next step of inheritance. The father had two billion won which he divided among his 4 children, three sons and a daughter. On their father’s death bed, with the lawyer their father, all the four families gathered at the elder son’s home to discuss this. The problem arose when they know that father left half of his money, 900 million won, to the eldest son. This made the family atmosphere a bit dark. Others were not happy with the father showing partiality. The first son was disappointed because he only got half of his father’s shares. Why others were upset that they got only 300 million. In the middle of sibling disputes, they got a call claiming eldest son’s kid is kidnapped and they asked for 2 billion won. They threatened to kill the kid unless they give them money.
What is going to happen?
Is that call real?
Or is someone playing a prank game?
The Feel-Good Part
The movie was filmed in a great manner. They were able to take the content as such to the audience. All the scenes were great.
The Disappointing Factor
The movie was taken in one stretch. There are no other scenes involved, except the scene from the house. This may make the viewers feel tiresome. The movie is all about discussions and talking from the same room.
In-Depth Analysis
‘Don’t go too far’ is a movie about a family and it involves all the events like siblings’ dispute, kidnapping, bargaining, fight as well as emotional damages. Storie is about the inheritance of two billion won, between four children. It didn’t go well as expected. According to the father’s will, half office chairs were written for the eldest son. The other three were not happy about this. The story turns into another line when they get a call claiming that the eldest son’s kid was kidnapped and they threatened to kill the kid unless they give them 2 billion. Hence the eldest son demanded to give all the shares including his siblings’ to the kidnapper. But others didn’t want to meddle in this or lose their money. Hence they backed off. Suddenly, they realized that the kidnappers kidnapped another son’s daughter. Here, the problem turned towards another sibling. Kidnappers kept demanding money. They were supposed to not inform the police. But they were desperate and scared. Hence they informed the police.
Later, we could see a flashback. The second son is planning this whole kidnapping drama with his son and his friend. They were planning to get all the money. When police were involved in this, the second son knew that this got off his hand. He was terrified and he killed his son’s friend in the end, so that truth will not come out.
It is the story of a family drama about money. It shows that people can choose money over relationships. Even being in blood relation, never stopped that person from his greed.

All the actors were wonderful. Everyone contributed their maximum.
Overall Opinion
Great movie with an enjoyable storyline. Viewers can connect with the situation. It will never be a waste of time watching this.
