Movie Digest

In this action drama, they use action as a way to hide their problems and pain. The best fighter in the high school, Seung In, who is lonely but doesn’t like to lose to anyone, and his friend, the harmony producer Hyeon Tae, who doesn’t like fighting, get involved in a fight that includes mobs. As the story goes by, they discover what true friendship is.

The Feel-Good Part

The movie explains the beauty of friendship and trust. As the story goes by, the two friends discover what genuine fellowship is. They support each other sincerely. The actors were amazing since they clearly showed their emotions, just like teenagers nowadays. The cinematography was so cool. Everything was really beautiful, even though the mood was dark. The movie about modern friendship makes it relatable to most teenage viewers with its fabulous craft, convincing script, and good-making.

The Disappointing Part

The two friends suffer a lot throughout their journey. The story might be a little dark-themed, and people who dislike action movies won’t be happy with the plot since it has a lot of fight scenes. The most disappointing part is that at the end of the movie, the criminals win, so it’s a bad ending.

In-Depth Analysis

It’s a typical friendship in which one is a local gangster who doesn’t want to lose anything and the other wants to fight with nobody. He was the parents’ good boy. One day, two boys get caught in a big fight that the local mobster is involved in. Along the way, they become friends, and a beautiful friendship blooms between them. It reveals the story of a group of high school students who choose a path of crime and face irrevocable and harsh consequences, presenting the viewer with direct questions about their lives. Even if it has a good plot, the ending is disappointing. The criminal team wins, and thus the bad takeover is good.

Star Power

This drama has a young, talented cast of actors. The cast and crew of the movie are excellent. Yoon Min Sik is the film’s director and writer of the script. The lead parts are played by Kim Hee-chan and Noh Young Hak. Excellent performances were also given by the supporting cast.

Overall Opinion

When seen from a teenager’s perspective, the film is, in my opinion, excellent. It’s about modern society and the dark side of teenage life. The movie gives a little bit of insight as to what kids might encounter in junior or senior high school, although not as dramatic as in the movie. The movie’s two central figures try their best to convey the message. Since the story is about friendship, it keeps us interested until the end. “Boys be” is for those who cherish intimate friendship as an important part of their life. Even though it was short, the movie did a great job of character building.
