Wu song’s bloody battle with lion house is a Chinese historical action movie. It involves Chinese culture, family drama, fights, and brotherhood. The movie starts with a scene in which two people peeking at a beautiful lady. Her husband, Wu Dalang comes watching this. Those two guys start teasing him and humiliating him by talking about his beautiful wife. It gives us an idea about how such a beautiful lady became a wife of an old man, through her memories. She was a servant at a prestigious house, and she was forced to marry an old man, she had no chance to say any opinion in her marriage. Movie the depicts the social and cultural situations of China back then. Wu Dalang has a brother, Wu Song, who returns after a long time which turns the story to another aspect. Dalang’s wife starts to have a crush on her brother-in-law.
What happens next? Will she cheat on her husband? How will Wu Song react to her crush?
The Feel Good Part
The historical elements in the movie are great. The best and feel-good part of the movie is the bond between the two brothers. Even in tough situations, they stayed for each other. They trusted each other. Many situations may be made them fight. But they loved and never broke their brotherhood.
The Disappointing Factor
Some of the scenes are a bit long. There are some exaggerating scenes, that may make the audience feel bored. Some characters were overacting.
In-Depth Analysis
It is a nice movie with great actors. A beautiful girl was married to an old man without her consent. Since she was a servant, she was forced to do so. She was never happy, even though he took care of her well. The story turns event, with the entry of the younger brother of Wu Dalang, who is a warrior. People praise him as a tiger killer. Wu Song person, who loves his elder brother very much. But Dalang’s wife starts to have a crush on him. One day, when Dalang was not home, she tries to make a move. This made Wu Song mad. Because of his love for his brother, he let it go. But she made the wrong statement accusing Wu Song to her husband. But Dalang never judged his wife or brother. Later she starts to have an affair with a wealthy man, Ximan with the help of Aunt Wang. But Dalang knows about the affair and it led to fighting between them. His wife killed him. Wu Song who got terrified and angry take revenge on her and her boyfriend. He killed both, which ends the movie. This is a story of revenge by a brother. An innocent person was killed for no reason by his beloved wife, whom he trusted.
Star Power
All the characters were amazing. Ding Hai Feng, Pan Chang Jiang, Zhang Xiyian, and Liu Yuken were all great. They did their roles well. They were able to pass the historical vibe to viewers.
Overall Opinion
Great movie with a historical Chinese background. Nice actors. Action scenes are great. It depicts the social, cultural and economic situation of early China.
