Movie Digest
Three people – a thief, a retired policeman, and a delivery guy – are all present during the murder of a woman. Knocked out in one way or the other, they don’t know how the woman died. As they try to make sense of the situation, they find a bag filled with cash.
They realize that the only way to get out of this situation is to solve the mystery surrounding them.
But things are not how they look like.
The Feel-Good Part
There is everything in this one movie. Thriller, mystery, secret, comedy everything. And the fact that all the three main leads are absolute strangers further makes the situation more hilarious.
The Disappointing Factor
The movie doesn’t have a disappointing factor. It has the perfect amount of everything and just keeps you on your toes from the starting till the end.
In-Depth Analysis
An aging thief, Li breaks into a dusty apartment but finds nothing. As he hears some people coming in, he hides and hits his head and starts to feel dizzy but somehow manages to crawl under the bed and passes out. When he wakes up, he finds a dead body of a woman beside him and a man with a gun, bandaging his bleeding hand. He overpowers him, takes his gun, and bounds him up. Soon after a food delivery guy wakes up and says that he was knocked out when he came with his order. The man somehow overpowers Li and ties him up. In a fight between the three, the man dies. As Li and the delivery guy are about to make a run, Li finds a plastic bag full of cash. They together find out what to do next but then find another bound man in that apartment.
The movie is a rollercoaster ride. Right when you think the mystery is unraveled, there is another twist. The full movie is full of suspense and thriller and slowly as the movie reaches the end the mystery starts unfolding.
Star Power
The star cast is outstanding. The three o them are a perfect mix. The three actors complement each other and make the movie more interesting to watch.
Overall Opinion
Knock-knock is a fantastic movie with a lot of suspense. It will keep you engaged and on the edge till the end. You should definitely give it a try.
