Will the elephant camp be saved? Will Kris be reunited with his family? Will his truth affect the bond with Pin?

The series answers all this and more. It is filled with surprises.

The Feel-Good Part

The costumes and visuals are on point. In addition, the dialogue writing is quite good.

The performances of the male and female leads are great. Their chemistry is also excellent.

The rapport between the humans and elephants (a symbol in Thai culture) is emotional.

The Disappointing Factor

The script is average and is not as good as the earlier version released in 2001.

In-Depth Analysis

When you plan life in a certain way, God (or in this case elephants) has other plans.

The same holds true for Pinprai. She dreams of being a doctor but cannot as she has to return to take over her family business which is an elephant camp. Kris, is an heir to a rich family but has no respect for hard work.  When his father hands over the reins of the business to his adopted brother Nimit, Kris is angry. His father gets him a job at Pin’s camp so that he understands the value of work.

Pin’s stepfather wants the camp to shut down and creates chaos that forces Pin and Kris to run away. Being in a difficult situation brings them closer and they fall in love.

The series is not just about Pin saving the camp but also Kris’s growth from hardly working to hard working.

Star Power

The real heroes are the elephants. Grace Athianatasak and Ben Kulnoppakiet are fabulous as Pinprai and Kris. The other cast members are also equally good.

Overall Opinion

If you like comedy and romance, then this is a good watch.
