Drama Digest
The drama follows an unlucky girl Luckkana, who is clumsy and blames her bad life on her destiny. She is superstitious and believes in fortune-telling. Luckkana believes that if she somehow figures out her fate and changes it, she will become luckier, and her life will be okay. A fortune teller tells luckkana that she can change her fate with the help of her ex-boyfriend Chokebordee, who is not a nerd anymore but a handsome prince.
The Feel Good Part
Surprisingly, the only good part about this drama is the chemistry between the leads. Other than this fact, it is hard to pinpoint or even generalize anything that makes this movie worth watching.
The Disappointing Part
The viewers may find the series a bit too slow and repetitive. While the drama claims to be a fun romance drama, there is barely any skinship between the characters which led to a loss of such good chemistry between the leads. The series gets annoying, and viewers might feel like skipping 80% of the show, it has lots of exaggerated acting.
In-Depth Analysis
This drama is overall a miss for me. I wish I had something to say about this drama other than the fact that it is annoying and far from unique, we have seen this theme in recurrent shows from multiple countries but with a far better storyline. The characters are downright disturbing and weird and if not for the female drama lead and the male drama lead, the series is worth skipping. The other cast does try to be supportive members, but their roles are minimized to being a menace on the screen every time they appear with almost little to no depth in their characters.
Star Power
The cast of this show did manage to pull off annoying characters for which they should be appreciated. Alek and mint carried this show with their chemistry.
Overall Opinion
A definite miss unless you are into corny and cringe-exaggerated dramas that are borderline annoying after claiming to be refreshing and fun. If not for the chemistry of the leads, this show would have never got the little hype it did. The characters have almost no depth and thus the concept of character development is entirely out of the question. The whole “doesn’t get noticed until they become pretty or handsome” trope is genuinely the worst out there and this movie does have it. Worth the skip, not the worst show out there but only watch it if you have nothing better to watch.
