Drama Digest

During the COVID-19 outbreak, a group of university students was quarantined in a dorm together for 14 days. As they become closer, they become entangled in the mystery of a love tragedy that occurred ten years before. Their love grows stronger as they get closer to the root, but danger lurks behind every corner.

The Feel-Good Part

At first glance, this series appears to be a B-grade horror comedy with a dash of BL. One of the things that gives this appearance is a ghost carrying a head and terrifying people. The tale, on the other hand, becomes more engaging as it progresses. While trapped in a hostel and terrorised by ghosts, a group of students progressively learns more about the deaths of two students there ten years earlier. The mystery of what caused the deaths of the two students, who were a same-sex pair, becomes more intriguing as previous discoveries lead to new puzzles to be solved.

The Disappointing Factor

The premise of flashbacks gradually exposing the past with new revelations twisting what one may expect from earlier revelations is good, but it is poorly done. This is a pity because, if done well, this series could easily have been upped a notch or two.

Star Power

The Covid lockdown plot was unique, but it is unlikely to stand the test of time. This entire story is heavily influenced by a number of vampire, ghost, and horror films, with a dash of The Green Mile tossed in for good measure.

Overall Opinion

Because it doesn’t take itself seriously, this show is fantastic. It’s an over-the-top comedy with exaggerated acting and clichéd romance, with a dash of mystery thrown in for good measure.
