Directed by Kawahara Yo and Nada Kenta, Guilty: Kono Koi wa Tsumi Desuka is a Japanese drama series that runs over ten episodes. With Yōko Izumisawa handling the script, the hit television series aired from 2nd April 2020 to 6th August 2020. The plot opens with the lead female character, Sayaka Ogino. She has everything an early twenty-year-old could ask for – a loving husband, a stable job in the city, and understanding friends. The problems start to arise when her old crush from high school, Keiichi Akiyama, resurfaces back into her life.
The Feel-Good Part
The one thing the viewers can look forward to in this series is this exhilarating romance between the couple who decide to renew their bond since high school. We get to sneak into their relentless efforts to conceal the connection from Sayak a’s partner of six years, Kazuma. The dilemmas that the female lead goes through are another sturdy, relatable point that adds to the drama in the course.

Guilty: Kono Koi wa Tsumi Ddesuka is a live-action series adapted from the manga series of the same title, illustrated and written by Ai Okaue. One of the first things that seek you into the story is the opening theme by Toshi, titled “Be All Right”. It is the artist’s first original release in twenty-two years, making a rare comeback for the show. The plot is mainly centred on the female audience, educating them on the intricacies of leading tumultuous life. It also shares insight into how one deals when finding interest in a person when already in a relationship. The drama series also hints at the possibility of polyamorous relationships.
