Drama-digest

The six-episode series is focused on the chaotic world of Bangkok’s road rescue services and Wanchai, who has just moved to Bangkok and must work with a young, burgeoning journalist to uncover a citywide conspiracy.

The feel-good part

You’ll be pulled straight in by the caravan. The plot involves a young man looking into the activities of a dishonest volunteer ambulance service. They entered the dungeon of death with the aid of a teenage reporter to discover the truth. Weir and Aom did well; before the baptism of fire, both seemed so naive. Their ongoing battle against the odds maintained the suspense. All the music is excellent. Incredible aerial views of Bangkok were available. Worth seeing.

The disappointing factor

The speed slowed after the first episode, allowing you to catch your breath. It could continue and follow the tale. But to the director’s credit, the second half picked off.

In-depth analysis

Enjoyable, with a compelling plot, exciting action, solid lead performance, and comprehensible subtitles. Sukollawat Kanarot and Sushar Manaying play the pleasant, empathetic, well-rounded characters Wanchai and Kat, respectively. The topics are current and bravely addressed. It is a segment of Thai television that will last. It helps if you are accustomed to Thai film and television, but this should also appeal to those unfamiliar with Thai international film and television. It’s challenging to resist bingeing on something that isn’t a “naam now” soap. We thought it was excellent—funny, well-produced, well-directed, and a massive compliment to the performers, writers, and crew.

Star power

Strong characters include protagonists Wanchai and Kat in particular. Characters with more sinister tendencies are relatively straightforward in a fun pantomime-villain fashion. Most storylines are satisfactorily resolved by the end of the final episode, while a cliffhanger suggests a never-produced second season.

Overall opinion

Although the main plot can occasionally become overly dramatic, it is still entertaining. The action is good; some CGI is evident, but an early “burning building” scene was spectacular. Good lines are presented in a solid script. The visuals in the series are beautiful. A work well done to the production team because the transitions and color grading are faultless.
