Drama Digest –

Kang Bo Ram is in charge of the ‘Go Bok Soo’ festival to find the suitable candidate for winning the best prize. She is a determined and passionate civil servant who works under the tourism department of Ulsan region. She meets her old friend, Kyung Seok, who has come back to Ulsan to stop his parents from separating and filing a divorce. They together devised a plan to make their mission successful and to let his father join the music festival. His father arrives at the festival and he reunites with his mother, ending with a happy ending.

The Feel-Good Part –

Kang Bo Ram’s strong intentions of pursuing her dreams are inspiring enough for a widespread amount of young audience who wants to follow their dreams. This field has always been a controversial one for women especially, and this segment is highlighted greatly in this series. Kyung Seok’s support for Kang Bo Ram is an essential factor of this show. The catharsis of the show focuses mainly on connecting to the audience and goes to a different road of instilling joy and laughter in the audience. The gradual process of creating love between Kyung’s parents again is heartwarming.

The Disappointing Factor –

Despite being a beautiful story, the story is not new enough to excite the audience. Such similar stories had already been made and had been much of a success. Some parts of the story are overdramatic and overhyped, like when Kyung Seok’s father arrives at the festival and reunites with his mother. All their differences get dissolved, and they stop thinking about the idea of divorce. Bo Ram’s mother’s character is too controversial, where on one side, she opposes Kang and supports her love for Kyung Seok.

Star Power –

Kang’s character is well-scripted for the main lead of the show. She is elegant and has a lot of potential for her job. She has a strong motive for fulfilling her dreams. She is kind and compassionate. At the same time, Kyung is lovable with a firm pride. He is confident, professional, and generous with one intention of fixing his mother and father’s marriage.
