Drama Digest
Kang Ah Reum is a wedding dress designer who has been married twice. Her two husbands harbor many secrets, and Ah Reum gets swept up in them. Jun Ji Hoon disguises himself as a travel writer, but he is a secret agent for Interpol. His job as a secret agent is a way for Jun Ji Hoon to support himself financially. He is currently divorced. He was married to Kang Ah Reum, but they divorced without Kang Ah Reum learning about his secret life as a spy. Kang Ah Reum now works as a wedding dress designer. She met Derek Hyun after her divorce and they eventually married. Her current husband works as a diplomatic official, and seems warm. His secret is that he is a cold-blooded industrial spy. Derek Hyun treats his wife sweetly, but for his job as an industrial spy, he will do anything. He loves Kang Ah Reum sincerely, but he also hides his true self from her.
The Feel-Good Part
The drama is like an actual spy drama. Other than spy and action, the drama had discussions about love and marriage. It was good to see the bromance between Jihun and Derek. They had different ways of showing their devotion to the same woman.
The Disappointing Factor
The ending for the villain was not appropriate. Apart from the female lead, there is nothing memorable about the drama.
In-Depth Analysis
The male lead, Jun Ji Hoon, is an Interpol undercover agent working on a case that involves Ah Reum’s close friend. As the job goes to the South, the male lead keeps a close eye on the female lead reigniting his emotions for her. Ah Reum agreed on to examine the uncertain circumstances of her friend’s death unofficially, in the light of the tragedy. The male less and the second male lead both are secret agents on the opposite sides. Even the story begins with them. Ah Reum’s character is the best part of the show and the story’s heart until the second half. Kang Ah Reum is an ambitious wedding dress designer, working hard to keep her business afloat. Beside being smart, charming, she is also stubborn, uncompromising and committed to a cause. As a female lead she is actively involved in the plot. Jun Ji Hoon is an undercover Interpol agent, introduced as the ace of his team. His character was written with many flaws to balance his strengths. Derek Hyun is Ah Reum’s husband and a corporate spy working for an underground group and is wanted by Interpol. He is charming, who has been groomed from a young age.
Star Power
The main leads had amazing chemistry between them as a team and a couple. The female lead is one of the best leads, and she was smart, tough and compassionate. Derek Hyun was the most interesting character but less explored and Ji Hoon was the most boring.
