In The Little Mermaid: The Beginning, two characters are involved in a confession in the past. Through an abrupt shift to coeducation, they cross paths again. The Little Mermaid: The Beginning is a prequel drama to The Little Mermaid: Touch You, which liked by the audience for its romantic detective fantasy. The Little Mermaid: The Beginning contains the narrative of young teens who are 180 degrees different from the earlier work. It gives people a chance to reflect on their hazy memories of their time in school and to empathize with the realities of adolescence, such as teen romance, college admission examinations, and the fantasy and reality of coeducation.

The most endearing is Woohyuk and Ara’s chemistry and connection! They complement one another nicely.
The Disappointing Factor
Nothing is disappointing
In-Depth Analysis
To reveal a mystery, “The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning” will transport viewers to Woo Hyuk’s high school years. Moonbin portrayed a far more mischievous young Woo Hyuk here, as opposed to the enigmatic, dreamy Woo Hyuk that audiences witnessed in the first “The Mermaid Prince.”
The drama will depict a completely different sort of relationship from that of the original series due to its high school setting. The love tale develops after Jo Ara, a high school student who intends to give up on dating because she doesn’t believe in love, meets Woo Hyuk and is depicted in “The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning.”
Star Performance
Moonbin, who also starred in “The Little Mermaid: Touch You” as Woo-hyuk, an enigmatic guy who operates a guesthouse, was completely different in this series. He is a high school student full of “shortness.” Additionally, Chae Won-bin joins him from Twenty Twenty, as well as Hwi-Young, Moon Sang-min, Yuna-Gyeol, Bo Bo-Min, and Yoon Sang-Min from SF9. They all performed well.
Overall Opinion
This is a brief series ideal for binge-watching all at once. Moonbin and Hwiyoung are very attractive. They were also superb actors. The supporting cast members were equally fascinating. Kudos.
