The feel-good part

The drama has the right blend of romance and comedy. The two pivotal characters getting attracted to each other, although chaos in the drama is appealing. Though real estate also plays a major role in the drama, romance is given its due. This light romcom has a good balance of comedy and love. Additionally, the dialogues are exceptional.

The disappointing factor

There are quite a few cliches in the series. Besides, the set designing could have been done with more care.

In-depth analysis

Getting ready for your own house is the major concern of most people nowadays. This concept is handled with great meticulousness in the series. It sheds light on the perspectives of a woman who considers a house as a place to live and be yourself and a man who regards it as a place to buy and make money. The two people are different poles still they attract.
The drama adds value to the plot through both the two pivotal characters and the supporting characters. Every staff of the magazine has been provided a good share of their real estate tale. The parts where saving money is dealt with add value to the story.

Star power

All the characters are lively in the drama and are relatable. In fact, it is their powerful performances that compensate for the pitfall in the series. Jung So-min is at her natural best and is not the typical female protagonist. The way she aspires to reach her ambition is inspiring. Kim Ji-Seok pulls off his role with ease. Thanks to his outstanding acting, the way he is transformed from an unlikeable character to a likable one is shown beautifully in the series. Kim Won-hee, Ahn Chang Hwan, and Chae Jung An also grab our attention with their superb chemistry. The space given to supporting actors is appreciable.

Overall opinion

Monthly Magazine Home is perfect entertainment for those who want the best of both romance and office genres.
