The Feel-Good Part

The series is entertaining and features a lot of plot twists. The twists are insane and seem illogical, but at the same time, they keep you hooked to your seat. The characters are messed up, yet you find yourself looking forward to more.

The Disappointing Factor

Despite the series being richly entertaining, the plot makes no sense. The ending is chaotic and messy, and feels like a mix of various genres hastily thrown into a single hot pot. To watch it, you must be willing to throw all logic away.

In-Depth Analysis

The characters are insane and crazy. The less crazy ones appear normal when compared to the insane ones. The show follows no logic, but then again, it is entertaining because of its craziness. The plot keeps getting twisted, and then the characters may transform into zombies, and some may even die. To watch this show, you must be ready to accept the nonsensical eccentricity of this show and be prepared to be confused. The eccentric students Toya Fujiwara, Yumi Nagai, Nagi Oki, Riki Tsurugi all of them are the spoiled rich kids who use their power to oppress their classmates as well as their homeroom teachers. Their Vice homeroom teacher Asahi Yorita also assists them in getting rid of all other teachers. When the frustration piles up, all of them unite to get rid of Yoshizawa by killing him. But Yoshizawa has his reasons for being stubborn and deflects all of their attacks, verbal and physical. He had sworn to take revenge on Asahi. Years ago, Asahi had pushed Yoshizawa’s lover Shizuka Maeno to the edge. As a result, she went into a coma and living on life support. Thus, a battle ensues between all of them. Yumi, Nagi and Riki are influenced by Yoshizawa, and want to be by his side, but they are oppressed by Asahi and Toya. They cannot stand up against the oppression and therefore have to assist them. Eventually, after many failed attempts, Yoshizawa is killed. But one of the students cannot bear with his death, and restored Yoshizawa using dark magic. Yoshizawa is revived but loses his humanness and becomes a zombie. Yoshizawa fights Asahi for one last time and eventually wins the battle and Asahi dies. Later on, Yoshizawa attempts to bury Shizuka, but a bolt of lightning strikes the ground where Shizuka was buried. She is revived, but she becomes a zombie as well. Eventually, Yoshizawa has taught the students a lesson and then lives happily with Shizuka.

Star Power

The cast has done a great job showcasing how crazy and messed up their characters are. Their actions are dangerous, but they still get away with everything they do. Their intentions are twisted and messed up, following no specific path to normalcy. The show has a good rhythm and keeps getting crazier. The shift in genres from mystery and thrill to total zombie showdown is nonsensical but entertaining.

Overall Opinion

If you want a solid experimental show that does not hold back on anything and keeps you entertained with its chaos and craziness, this show is for you.
