Drama Digest

The Feel-Good part
It is a good watch if you are interested in business dramas. It has the touch political affairs and plots related to hierarchy.
The disappointing part
Although a great watch, the drama failed recognition by the public. Since it is a low budget, the quality and promotion are not very satisfactory.
In Depth Analysis
Shuhei Nozaki is a branch manager at Oozora Bank. People like him because of his sense of justice and humanity, but he doesn’t have a successful career at work. One day, the branch where he works closes. Shuhei Nozaki receives a promotion and works as an auditor. Working as an auditor, he sees the corruption and decides to change the bank. He faces opposition from the top of the company. The CEO, Masahiko Kyogoku, and his associates, Shingo Takeda and Sachiko Tachikawa, try to stop him. The story is set after three years of nationalizing Ozora Bank. There are still no signs of a turnaround. Nozaki Shuhei (Oda Yuji) was previously exposed to the bank’s illegal dealings as an auditor. He becomes its president in an unconventional promotion. During this time, he was involved in many corporate restructuring efforts through the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan. He was appointed because of his resourcefulness. Nozaki had a bid to restore the confidence and pride of the bank employees who were demoralized by the performance-driven culture and layoffs. Nozaki sets his sights on building a bank that can contribute to society. Hence, he launches reforms with managing director Tachikawa Shoko (Matsushima Nanako) and Ishihara Toshiyuki (Kazama Shunsuke) from the loan department. Then Kyogoku Haruki (Ozawa Yukiyoshi), a former elite government bureaucrat and the son of the former bank president, becomes a director. He plots with Shoko to oust Nozaki and take back the position that his father had built up. Nozaki’s battle begins again.
Star power
Yuji Oda as, Nozaki Shuhei, the lead role, played his character well along with all his fellow actors.
Overall
It is overall an excellent show, to watch with a good plot and storyline. It can be a great watch to train your mind over business administration.
