Drama Digest

The drama follows a fairly young Kurokawa Morio. He is a fairly young man who recalls all the past part-time jobs he took up in order to meet his financial needs, strikes up a conversation with his friend, and reveals a surprising connection between Morio and the attractive, Akaza Yukiko is timid, but she has had several encounters with Morio, which are revealed throughout the episodes.

The Feel-Good Part

As a slapstick comedy drama, this truly brings out lots of laughter. It is perfect to complete in one sitting. Japanese dramas are great at bringing out the best of all the characters in a few minutes and are not overly focused on dragging out the story unnecessarily. The same goes with this drama. It is short and sweet in its delivery of what it intends to deliver in terms of the story and the characters.

The Disappointing Factor

The only disappointing factor appears to be how short and sweet this drama is constructed. At times it leaves you asking for more. Another disappointing factor appears to be the fact that there is nothing that grips you to the story like twists and turns. The story flows in its own pace and is very simply in nature.

Star Power

As for the main lead, Kurokawa Morio, who is portrayed by Sugino Yosuke, does exceptionally well in portraying the character to the best of his abilities. Sugisaki Hana has to be applauded for acting as a blind person. For her role as Akaza Yukiko, she brought out all the necessary aspects that a blind person tends to have. Tozuka Junki as Midorikawa Hanao, Hori Natsuki as Momoie Sosuke, and Okabe Nao as Suzuki are all the supporting characters, but they still perform wonderfully and aid the story as a whole.

Overall Opinion

Murooka Yoshimiko should be applauded for her screenwriting skills, as she has done a phenomenal job of establishing the story and the characters contained within it. The emotions, the story, and the characters are nothing short of perfection.
