Drama Digest

Tokoro Madoka is a simple 33-year-old girl who has not yet experienced real love. She works at a publishing company and is an editorial staff at Juice, a manga for women. She is also in love with Hakkaku Naoya, the popular guy working in her company’s sales department. When she opens up about her crush to the manga artist on her team, she gets advised to check his usual meals. She might get some idea about him and feel his presence through this plan. As crazy as it sounds, she took the advice and tried different food while fantasying about him.

The Feel-Good Part

The story was a breath of fresh air for the romance genre. It was creative with its storylines and character developments. The acting of the cast was commendable to watch as well. The shy and naïve girl has her first experience with love, and the amateur ways she deals with it are fun and interesting to watch. The female protagonist has great funny and comedic timing. The show provides viewers with tempting food that will make their mouths water instantly.

The Disappointing Factor

The show promotes stalking, which is not a morally positive plan to deal with love. The male lead did not get any unique arcs with a basic storyline throughout the show.
