Drama Digest

Daisuke Manpyo is a fruitful financial specialist and the leader of Hanshin Bank. He finds out about a transition to revamp business banks. Thus, he endeavours to forestall any possible consolidation of Hanshin Bank with one more bank to safeguard himself. Although, the title of the drama is similar to the 2007 famous series, both theatres have different plots, scenarios as well as timelines they’re set up. It is kind of a spin-off of the original one in some ways. This makes it interesting already in the eyes of the audience and specifically in a fan of that particular series. To know whether it has the same level of energy in it or not, you need to take a look into it.

To Feel Good Part

The plot of this drama is excellent, although in comparison to the 2007 version, yes, indeed, it doesn’t hold that charm. This version also works well, especially for first-time watchers. The ending, as well as the way the story turns out, was the central gem of the plot for me. The main reason that makes watching this version of the drama worth watching is that the makers decided to stick to the main story. Although some minor sub-plots were changed, that doesn’t matter much as they were placed in the storyline in such a way that doesn’t affect the plot.

In-Depth Analysis

Daisuke Manpyo (KiichiNakai) is a proprietor and leader of Hanshin Bank, which positions tenth in the country as far as bank stores. Other than Hanshin Bank, Daisuke Manpyo claims a few others organizations and land. He hears from his first child in-regulation regarding a transition to redesign the business banks. His child in-regulation functions as b administrator for the Ministry of the Treasury. Daisuke Manpyo endeavours to hinder his bank from being converged with another bank. He faces troublesome times.

Disappointing Factor

The 2021 version of this drama is way too predictable, there’s no element of surprise in the plot as well as the music, and the sound editing have also not done well. There is no finishing in the sound area, and the music is way too loud. The presentation could have been better; there was a lot of room for improvement in the drama.

Stars Performance

Well, the actor’s performance plays a significant role in making a drama watchable and in this show actors didn’t give their best. It felt like they were being forced even to deliver the dialogues. Except NakaiKiichi other leads seems like dragging their part, which wasn’t even to carry the show on their shoulder. That was the main lacking point in this drama as there was no effort in actors’ screen presence which makes it a dull performance.

Overall Review

Although the plot of this drama is good, almost similar to the original one because of the actor’s dull performance, it’s not much attention holder show. If you can ignore the performance of actors and actresses, then you can give it a try, but it doesn’t have much element to offer that will make you wish to rewatch it.
