Drama Digest
Gu Ren Qi, our male lead, maintains distance from all people due to his mysophobia. He owns a cleaning company. Our female lead, Shi Shuang Jiao, is a careless person who lost her mother at a very young age. She grew up with her father and younger brother. She is the sole breadwinner of her family and works as a janitor in Ren Qi’s company. The story revolves around what happens in their life when Ren Qi decides to run his company automated without the janitors. Later, Ren Qi and Shuang fall in love with each other. They try to be there for each other as they face new challenges and help each other recover from their past traumas.
The Feel-Good Part
The drama is lightweight and quirky. It brings the flavors of the romance between two polar opposite people. The OST of the series are great. Jasper and Shen Yue are a cute couple to watch. The romance between the other couples isoften more intriguing than the main couple. The drama flows at its own pace. The peculiar characters and their antics make sure that the scenes are funny.
The Disappointing Factor
It is a remake of the Korean drama ‘Clean For Passion For Now.’ The storyline is predictable. The show portrays the romance between a rich, successful, and handsome male lead and a clumsy and poor female lead. There is little to no room for development for the female and second male lead. The writing could have been better. The romance between Ren Qi and Shuang seems dragged.
In-depth Analysis
The drama follows a predictable and repetitive storyline. The traumas and healings of the main couple require emphasis. The show could also have brought the intricate relations of the main leads with their family with more life. The show seems to run alone on the cute romance going everywhere and the love triangle. The connection between the female lead and the second male lead addressed is too good for no reason. But still, our main lead couple manages to win our hearts with their love. The way both of them support each other is impressive. It is one of the strengths of this drama. The supporting characters are notable but not unforgettable.
Star Power
The series has good casting. Shen Yue, also the female lead of the ‘Meteor Garden,’ and Jasper Liu, the ‘Taiwanese Rain,’ have done an excellent job. They are such a cute pair to watch on-screen. Jasper is excellent in the series. Dai Yun fan justifies his role as the second male lead. He did a good job considering his character had little room for development, owing to the writing. The other supporting cast, Yan An, Su Mengdi, Huang Sirui, Charles Lin, Tan Quan, and Xiao Ran add life to this typical drama with their charms.
Overall Opinion
The drama will serve its purpose if you are looking for something light-hearted and cute. It’s a great one-time watch.
