Drama Digest
The drama revolves around a team of 6 great and elite investigators consisting in a group called ‘Trace of six’. The group involves criminal psychologists, IT experts, and forensic science doctors working together. The group is led by Liao Yan, who is forensic scientist and Liang Mai Qi, who is a criminal psychologist. They have just returned from abroad where they were studying. The group works together with the main crime division to solve thrilling bizarre cases to find out the culprit and the truth. They apply their skills and work through their respective fields to crack strange cases. They end up getting familiar with each other and form a close friendship. They end up getting in danger over and over again. In some strange cases, they also experience a life or death situation. It is their wisdom and courage, that kept them strong and patient going through all the cases.
The Feel Good Part
The drama is quite interesting to watch. The group members grow close to each other forming personal bonds and relationships. The cases that they portrayed were so interesting and exciting. They were very well executed. There was a good amount of plot through the entire series.
The Disappointing Factor
The show is great, besides a few minor flaws. In the last case, the audience anticipated a better ending. They were looking forward to have an end in a different way that could benefit the group members too and so they would have a happy ending.
In-Depth Analysis
The show can be called well-written and well directed. The cases were very interesting to watch. They had so much potential and plots in them, that one could not easily depict its ending. The cases also included personal matters and relationships of the group members which made it even more exciting to watch and left the viewers at the edge of their seats during the episodes. Almost every case holds 2-3 episodes which made it less boring and more engaging. There were some really nice twists and turns. However, the ending was more of an anticlimax. The audience was expecting a better ending and was willing to see more of the relationship of the main leads. This made the ending seemed rushed. The cases were definitely very dramatic and exaggerated, but the chemistry between the actors, fast-faced plotting scenes, storyline, etc made it quite interesting to watch.
Star Power
The cast of the series was so good. They all looked so great together and formed such a nice, unique and competitive team. They all did an amazing job with their roles. The supporting cast did an absolutely great job too! Wang Xin played the role of Jia Ding, Gao Yu Fei played the role of Lu Xiao Tong, Zhang Jun Run played the role of Guo Ba, Xu Fang Zhou played the role of Jiang Zi Nan, etc.
Overall Opinion
The show was excellent and if you love mystery dramas, then this is a must-watch!
