While raising his five kids, he revealed his true colours of selfishness. He turned his focus inward, leaving his children behind. By observing his behaviour, his eldest son came forward to take care of his siblings. They were being aware that now all they have is themselves. The Qiao siblings Er Qiao, San Li, So Mei, and Quai quai came alongside their brother Yi Cheng. Despite the circumstances, the siblings not only survived but also thrived. After three decades, they all started to live life on their own, and they are putting all the efforts that could turn their dreams into reality. Even going on different parts, they always supported each other.

The Feel-Good Part

The bond they created after their mother died. The bond which their elder brother has created was carried by them for decades. Their bond made them more vital to follow their dreams. The soundtracks in the drama were brilliant and well placed. The songs always played at the right moment. The cinematography had been done well. Some things on the drama were magical and everything about it feels genuine.

The Disappointing Factor

The show is slow-burn types. Things occur slowly, and many things are not resolved till the end. Every other detail of the is satisfying and mesmerising.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is all about the life of the Qiao family. The Qiao siblings grew up without a mother, and their father neglected them. Big Brother Qiao Yi Cheng, as the eldest child, had taken care of his younger siblings. Throughout the drama, you will be seeing the hardships that each sibling has gone through in their life. But the bond between them is indestructible. No matter how much they complain and revolt with each other, they instantly drop everything to come to their sibling’s salvation. The story also described how persistent scarcity strikes the family, headed by a drunkard love to take a risk, father who toiled as jagged labour with minimum wage, he already had four children, and another was about to come. Their problems increased once the fifth child was born, and at the same time, his wife died.
The harsh situation shaped their personalities, especially Yi Cheng. He was forced to take responsibility for his siblings because their father ignored them. The father didn’t care about the well being of his children, so the children survived on their own. Yi Cheng was protective of his siblings. The story was very touching. After they evolved, everyone had their own tales, their own dilemmas and they were told nicely in this drama.
Everyone was impacted by their childhood, their complexions were shaped from childhood, teenage till adulthood; each and everyone have distinct and engaging personalities. These details made the story very interesting. All the aspects of the story look very actual and customary as if you were taken to see the journey of each individual of the Qiao family. The drama is well written, acted in a sensible manner, the cinematography was perfect and the sound development team’s efforts are applauded. The story has set criteria for the drama viewers.

Star Power

All the actors did a phenomenal job; they had portrayed their roles as if it was their real story. The acting of every lead was superb.

Overall View

The story is very touching. The bond is one of the rarities that need to be appreciated for its each part. It is a much watch drama. This drama can give you a roller coaster ride of emotions.
