The Feel-Good Part
The egoistic angle of the male lead is hilarious and entertaining to watch. The visuals of the drama are appealing. The fact that the male lead changes himself to win the female lead’s heart is adorable to watch. The drama was applauded despite a lot of anti-serious elements.

The egoistic nature of the male lead might seem problematic to many viewers as it can be somewhat annoying. There are some moments between both the leads which might seem immature and unnecessary to the plot.
In-Depth Analysis
Mu Jue Chen, the male lead of the drama is a young master/prince of a clan based on a mountain named ‘Qian Mu.’ From the outside, he seems like a perfect personality who is extremely intelligent, good-looking, and well-versed in martial arts. He is appreciated by everyone around him but the main problem is his behavior. He is somewhat immature in his behavior as he is a narcissistic personality. He is pretty egoistic and always thinks highly of him. He has anger issues as well. People find his personality funny because of this. He has a young maidservant, Qian Yu, who has served him since both of them were very young. She has served but she has definitely suffered a lot. She has handled all his tantrums as if he was her boss. She had already served him for ten long years. She was done with Chen because of various instances like once he had not allowed her to go out with her friends on her birthday due to his selfish motives. This annoys Yu a lot as she barely gets to do what she wants. One day, she discovers an unexpected truth about herself. This truth concerns her real identity hence after discovering the truth about herself, she decides to leave Chen. After she leaves, Chen realizes her importance in his life. Her absence gives him a sudden realization that his feelings toward her are romantic. This makes him wanna pursue her and bring her back to tell her his feelings. He tries different things to impress her but Yu is still too annoyed at him to be impressed. But this does not go on for long as soon Yu realizes her feelings for Chen as well. Chen changes himself a lot for Yu as he is adamant about having Yu by his side forever. This is their hilarious and sweet love story.

Overall Opinion
Despite being a mainstream Chinese drama, it is not all strict and serious. Instead, it is sweet, funny, and entertaining. It is a recommended one for viewers looking for a light-hearted show.
