The Feel-Good Part
The chemistry between the leads is charming. The bickering between them is hilarious and sweet.
The Disappointing Factor
The side female characters of the drama were a major annoyance. Their characters are written immaturely that also lacked character development. As sweet as the relationship of the lead couple might seem, it was problematic. It is confusing and toxic at some points from both sides. The character development in the show is horrible. A minus point of the drama was that the male lead was the most hated character after the drama aired.
In-Depth Analysis
He Feng is the male lead and Wang Xiao An is the female lead of the drama. Both were in a relationship a few years ago but due to some circumstances, they had broken up. Years later now, they have become set in their careers. He Feng is a highly professional tech expert and game designer, who is sharp-minded. His problem-solving abilities are second to none. But even though he’s intelligent, people find it hard to believe in his capabilities due to his young age, which frustrates him. On the other hand, Xiaoan is an aspiring scriptwriter without an education major in scriptwriting. Because of this reason, she can never actively participate in any scriptwriting activities other than her job. Both their careers have reached a confusing point which they both want to break out from. One day, both of them accidentally meet at a skiing location. They are flustered to see each other and start arguing hilariously right away. After a few days, while trying to resolve their professional life conflicts, they think of each other. As Feng wants to develop a Ski-related game, he wants to learn the real-life aspects of skiing. Because of this, he ends up thinking of no one but Xiaoan as she is a part-time ski coach too. He approaches Xiaoan with this proposal and she has no choice but to help, hoping it would help her career in some form too. Soon, both start meeting often. They hang out, discuss various ideas and help each other out. With time, they realize that their feelings have started to take shape once again. Both draw towards each other without much effort and decide to get together in the end. This is a story of Feng and Xiao An trying to help each other both personally and professionally while some other characters intrude in their lives.
Star Power
It is hard to tell which character shined the best as none of the characters were well-written. There were some adorable moments between the leads but not enough to carry the show.
Overall Opinion
It might be a sweet drama to watch as a whole as long as the story is concerned, but it disappointed many viewers due to its cliché scenes.
