Is there anything such as a perfect city or village? If yes, what goes into building such a concept? Can one make it a reality or will it just be a dream?

This is the theme of the drama series.

It revolves around a newly appointed Deputy Secretary of Qingshan town named Tang Tian Shi. He is keen that the town becomes an ideal one so that it can be a model for the country.

During the endeavor, he meets Xin Lan, a female anchor in a radio and television studio. He also meets Shi Quan, who has returned to Qingshan to start his business.

The series is set in a rural setting and depicts village life. But this life is filled with challenges both in terms of infrastructure and people’s attitudes.

The show explores if Tang’s determination with the support of the Xin and Shi is enough to make it into a perfect village or if it will just be a dream owing to administrative, logistical constraints, and people’s unwillingness to change.

The Feel-Good Part

The costumes and cinematography are spectacular. Each character is defined in terms of looks and costumes.

The dialogues also aid the script and some of the dialogues are powerful ones. They stand out.

The idea of a perfect village is interesting and makes one hopeful about the future even though the reality is different.

The Disappointing Factor

The script is average and some of the scenes are a drag. It could have been reduced.

If a person is resolute and capable, then nothing can come in their way, or can it?

The show is about the Deputy Secretary of Qingshan Town named Tang. He wishes to make the town a perfect one. And to accomplish it, he is willing to go the distance and make it happen.

Supporting his journey are two other individuals: Xin, a TV and radio anchor, and Shi, a student planning to start his business.

The series is about whether he succeeds in transforming the town into an ideal one. It is fascinating as the show is set in a rural setting and gives an insight into villagers’ lives and problems.

Star Power

The males especially Yang Zhi Gang as Tang and female leads are good and they are ably supported by the other cast members.

If you like inspirational dramas, this is a good watch.
