Drama Digest
Overworking man is a story of a lead band singer who is trying hard to make it as a singer. But it seems like a distant dream as he failed his debut. So in the end he gave up and became a social animal of the black-hearted advertising company. From that point in his life, he decided never to go back on that road and quit his dream. But every cloud has a silver lining. Even after everything in his life was fallen apart, he got his motivation.
He met the right people in his life who pushed him to go forward with his dream. They taught him to get back and fight. His boss, Ye Shou Yu, took special care of him and motivated him to be what he wants. His colleague, Lin Kai Xin, supported him at every point whenever he needed. Wen Shiqing, A superstar tempted him to work even harder and get the place he thinks he deserved. After all these, he got to hear his voice and won his path in life.
The Feel-Good Part
Who doesn’t love to watch a person rising from nothing to everything? The amount of motivation you will get after watching this show is worth it. It feels good to see Yang Ke Yi surrounded by so many optimistic people always pushing him to do his best. It’s a very nice story which teaches you a lot of important life lessons. It’s a story that gives you more than just entertainment. You remember the dream on which you almost gave up. You might get motivated to give one try to it.
The Disappointing Factor
If you are a romance fan then you probably be a little bit disappointed because there is no love angle of Yang Ke Yi shown in the entire series.
In-Depth Analysis
Overworking man is adapted from the manga “Shachikujin Yaburinichiro”. It’s a must-watch show. Full of giggles and positivity. It’s not only the main characters who make you fall in love with the story but all the other characters have done an inordinate job in the series. Every ounce of the story is worth watching.
Star Power
The three main characters, Liu Chang as Yang Ke Yi, Huai Wen as Yea Shou Yu and Wen Sheng as Lin Kai Xin have made this one of the best shows to watch. They have filled the show with enthusiasm. Li Chang has done the part of a loser and a winner both superbly. Huai Wen and Wen Sheng both were also marvellous.
Overall Opinion
Sometimes you just need a little bit of motivation in your life for going forward. You just need someone to push you to move forward. And if you are surrounded by good people your goal seems achievable. It may not become easy but it will surely become smooth.
It’s easier to keep yourself motivated. This series is all about that. Probably Yang Ke Yi wouldn’t be able to do anything if he didn’t have Yea Shou Yu and Lin Kai Xin helping him on his way.
