Drama Digest

During their engagement party, Xia Qian was abandoned by her fiancé, He Zhi Juan. The self-empowered Xia Qian decides to embark on a brand new career as a career negotiator, and the phrase “small world” turns out to be true when they meet again three years later.

The feel-good part

The drama displays a relationship where two people equally contribute to making the other’s life better and tackle all the problems together.Despite its mature atmosphere, there isn’t much fluffy romance or silly fights between the leads, still there is a good deal of understanding and thoughtfulness between them, which is the crucial element in adult relationships, but rarely seen in dramas.

The disappointing factor

The plot of the drama gets too dragged towards the middle, showing back and forth arguments between the second leads’ relationship.

The third leads’ pairing was quite odd. Based on the plot that the male lead was the psychiatrist, he should have been depicted as more mature and not whinny, being able to understand the female protagonist, and handle the relationship in a better way.

In-depth analysis

Star power

The cast selection, however, is not appropriate. The casting seems off at several places during the plot.

Overall opinion

It is a feel-good, light-hearted movie for rom-com lovers.
