Drama Digest
Li Ze Liang is a bright, carefree man who is the heir to a conglomerate with clever strategizing skills for business deals. He met his ex-lover, a bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl, Su Xie Yi student back then, and their love was passionate and unforgettable. But because of unexpected situations, Su Xie Yi suspects Li Ze Liang to be the reason for her family’s downfall. Due to an awful accident, Li Ze Liang loses a foot and wears a prosthetic leg, few people know about this as he tries his best to cover his defect under his beautiful appearance, but Su Xie Yi misunderstands him. To investigate, she pretends to have amnesia and returns to him under falls pretenses. While they play a dangerous game, he faces rock bottom, but the truth got revealed, and Su Xie Yi is surprised to learn about his innocence. She desperately tries to hold on to their relationship, but things change between them, and their hard-earned love seems too much for both people. In the end, a dark evil lurks around the corner for the couple to face.
The Feel-Good Part
The story revolves around two lovers who are destined for each other but face betrayals, lies, misunderstandings, revenge plots, and external forces that place them as opposites, with the concept that can keep audiences entertained. The content portrayed in this show is compact, smooth, and easy to digest. It is a fast-paced drama with a straightforward storyline where problems get resolved faster. The conflicts between the two lovers provide a painful emotional ride for the audience. The female lead gave a brilliant performance, and even the supporting cast performed vivid roles that are loveable and relatable. The production values and directorial aspects are decent enough, with great background settings throughout every scene. The suspense is well-built as the beginning episodes have many clues, dark dialogues, and misleading scenes that keep the audience guessing. The screenplay, screenwriting, and overall editing was outstanding as well.
The Disappointing Factor
Due to its fast pacing, some plotlines are pushed forcibly and feel rushed. Some unnecessary scenes and plots make no sense. It felt incomplete or unsatisfying at times. The acting performance of the male lead might be a bit stiff compared to the rest of the cast members.

Even though he gets caught, soon another evil behind the scenes is much darker, manipulative, and obsessed with Su Xie Yi and remains in the shadows for a long time.
Star Power
The show got directed by Cheng Chang and written by Hu Xiao Shuai and Yan Nei. Luo Yu n Xi plays the role of Li Ze Liang, and Cheng Xio plays the role of Su Xie Yi as they are the lead characters of this show. Ji Xiao Bing, Tian Yi Tong, Gao Han, Isabella, Guan Zi Jing, Tang Jing Mei, and Wang Zi Yun are the supporting cast of this series. The show got produced by Wang Jing Jing, Fang Fang, and Zhang Meng.
