His father’s last wish was to see him get married to Su Xiaoxiao. Su Xiaoxiao is a simple girl who earned her independence being a reporter. She is also the daughter of the Su family which are also a very well-known family. Su family and Xu family have been friends for a long time. Compelled by his father’s wish they both get married. But soon after Su’s family gets in trouble and Su Xiaoxiao and Xu Yichen are forced to keep their marriage a secret. In the public, Xu Yichen is supposed to keep the facade of a playboy who is constantly in scandals with various celebrities. But what nobody knows is that he’s always been in love with his childhood friend Su Xiaoxiao. The secret, one-sided love, and all kinds of misunderstandings lead to a lot of drama between the protagonists. Su Xiaoxiao also has another not-so-secret lover who is longing for her. But every time the villain tries to harm Su Xiaoxiao, Xu Yichen is there to protect her. this leads to her warming up to him more with each trouble they encounter. When Su Xiaoxiao finally comes to know about Xu Yichen feeling for her, she decides to stay with him.

The star power of the show is the male and female lead actors. Although they looked a little awkward around each other. Their looks and charisma is the only thing that may allow you to give this show a chance.

Overall, the show is your basic arrange marriage drama. It has all the basic tropes of a cliché arranged marriage Asian drama. The show could’ve done better with better production quality and a more improved script. The actors tried their best. Overall, the show requires a lot of patience if you wish to finish it.
