Drama Digest
The drama is also known as “Hey, Your Big Business Is Wonderful.” It is a Chinese drama that aired in 2021. It is a school drama that teaches the audience moral values and lessons. In a charming village, the Li family and the Xiong family, residing as next-door neighbors, welcomed new additions to their families on the same day. Interestingly, Xiong Qi Qi’s initial words weren’t the typical “mom” or “dad,” but rather her father’s signature saying, “Trouble has come.” As the children mature, their respective traits become more distinct. Xiong Qi Qi, the female protagonist, evolves into a carefree individual content with avoiding accomplishments. In contrast, Li Yi He, the male protagonist, transforms into a rigorous and meticulous individual striving for perfection.
The Feel-Good Part
The audience enjoyed and loved this drama because of its adorable storyline, moral values, and cute characters. The character development in this drama was perfectly executed. It is evident since the beginning how the two are so close yet so different and unique. Their relationship development was done well.
The Disappointing Factor
The show had minor flaws. The initial episodes were confusing and frustrating. The viewers were so confused and ended up dropping the drama. Hence, the show did not get the rating it deserved.
In-Depth Analysis
The story revolves around the lives of Li Yi He and Xiong Qi Qi. The show depicts their childhood, teenage years, their adult phases, and eventually the way they fall in love. The male lead was a nerdy guy who just cared about studying. He was always straightforward about his needs and wants and got a successful career. Xiong Qi Qi, however, was not a very intellectual person. She was more of a calm and naughty girl. She just enjoyed eating and sleeping and did not care about anything else. Li Yi He always protected and cared for her from elementary school to their university days. As they explore the big city, the two of them face problems. Life is tough for Xiong Qi Qi, but Li Yi He finds clever ways to motivate her. With the support of Qi Qi’s family and Li Yi He’s strong friendship, Qi Qi learns to be brave in unfamiliar situations and grateful for small good things.
Star Power
The actors did an excellent job with their roles in the series. Tu Zhi Ying played the role of Xiong Qi Qi, and Wu Hu Yeng played the role of Li Hi Ye. Other characters like Lucas Yao played the role of Jun Yan, Pang Fei Yang played the role of Xu Kan, Xie Yao played the role of Zhou Shi Wen Zi, and Zhou Wei Ke played the role of Zhang Zhou Si, etc.
Overall Opinion
The drama was good and had a satisfying, happy ending. I’d recommend watching this drama if you like rom-coms.
