Drama Digest

The creative director of the film team and award-winning newcomer Chan Chi Yeung are shunned by other people in the entertainment industry because of their insistence on doing things their own way. Following a ten-year break, Chi Yeung, Herman, the producer; Lee Sa Sa, the screenwriter; Master Man, the martial arts choreographer; Shell, the production designer; Lau Ka Ling, the actress; and Choi Tsz Lok, the assistant director, reunite to begin a new project with the aim of making their best movie yet. The inadvertent act of the investor shatters their aspirations. Even a hefty dinner tab needs to be paid. A compelling ruse is used by the septet to avoid accountability. Chi Yeung then puts the buddies together to form the “Fraudstars.” Up until a real criminal organization suddenly appears, leaving them little choice but to perform a prank.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama entails a very interesting plot set in the entertainment industry, in particular the film industry. Chan Chi Yeung won an award at such a young age and yet he is shunned by people just because he likes to do things the way he wants to. After taking a break from the film industry for 10 years, he decides to comeback and make another great film and dreams of it. However, as he realizes how expensive it is, he ends up having to pull a hoax when the actual criminal organization. This is the perfect blend of chaos and comedy in one film.

The Disappointing Factor

There is nothing in the play that might dissatisfy the audience. It is simple to watch without feeling guilty.

In-Depth Analysis

Award-winning newcomer Chan Chi Yeung insists on doing things his own way, which causes others in the entertainment industry to avoid him and the creative director of the film team. After ten years have passed, Chi Yeung, Herman the producer, Lee Sa Sa the screenwriter, Master Man the martial arts choreographer, Shell the production designer, Lau Ka Ling the actress, and Choi Tsz Lok the assistant director reunite to start a new project with the goal of creating their best film. The investor’s unintentional passing shatters their ambition. Even a big dinner bill must be paid. The septet exhibits a convincing con to get out of being held accountable. The friends are then assembled by Chi Yeung to become “Fraudstars.” Up until a genuine crimnal organization shows up one day and leaves them with no choice except to pull a hoax.

Star Power

Lawrence Cheng as Cheng Kwok Cheung, also known as “Herman”, Pierre Ngo as Chan Chi Yeung, and Angel Chiang as Lee Sha Sha do a marvelous job as the main roles in the drama. Other supporting roles like Sammi Cheung as Lau Ka Ling, Kirby Lam as Siu Bui Yi, also known as “Shell”, and Max Cheung as Cheung Chung [Chi Yeung’s friend] give a performance that deserves appreciation.

Overall Opinion

Viewers should definitely give this drama a try because it’s worth it and they will definitely not be disappointed by the acting of the cast or the story.
