Drama Digest

Chi Xiao Nian is an excellent cook. She is always in the kitchen trying something new because her boyfriend thinks she is boring, dull, and mediocre.

For their anniversary, she puts a lot of effort into preparing a lunchbox for her boyfriend, but when she goes to the gym, she finds him flirting with another girl.

Yan Yu, Chi Xiao Nian’s school friend, offers to be her fake boyfriend to get her back at her cheating boyfriend.

The Feel-Good Part

The female lead friend is very supportive. Their friendship is really on the other level. The way they stick a poster for boyfriend hunting was hilarious. They are partners in crime.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama has nothing new to offer. It’s an everyday romance drama with a repetitive plot. The show is predictable, and sometimes you know what’s going to happen next.

In-Depth Analysis

Falling in Love is a typical childhood sweetheart turned enemies turned lovers’ drama.

The female leads boyfriend cheats on her with another girl. She looks for a fake boyfriend to make her cheating boyfriend jealous and get back at him but somehow manages to fall in love with the fake boyfriend, which ends with a happy ending for them.

The show has nothing brand new to offer. You might have read a book like this before or watched a drama like this before. Everything is predictable.

Also, they all act like kids. When you are in college, you need to act a little grown-up, but they still think they are in middle school, where you cry over your cheating boyfriend.

Star Power

The star cast doesn’t give any expression. Wei Ran, played by Han Xinyu, was the best. She is the most chill and most remarkable character, who always stands up to her friend. She did her part well.

Overall Opinion

The drama is okay. If you are looking for a cliché, lighthearted drama, go for this one. Also, it’s a very small series which will take around 2 hrs. So, it is not going to take a lot of time.
