Drama Digest

Bai Feng Jiu is Qing Qiu’s Queen. She is the world’s only red nine-tailed fox. While seeking cultivation in the mountains, Feng Jiu is attacked by a wild beast and is saved by Dong Hua, the first emperor of Heaven. Feng Jiu joins Dong Hua in defeating the Demon Lord, grateful and indebted. Feng Jiu recognizes her gratitude for Dong Hua has gradually blossomed into love as the two spend time together. Dong Hua, unfortunately, has long forgotten what affection is. Will many lives be enough to bring these two hearts together, even if the toughest hearts can melt with time?

The Feel-Good Part

So far, everything has gone as planned. The cast is fantastic, especially the main characters. Vengo and Dili Reba were both fantastic. I adore their incredible chemistry. Those who hadn’t read the book would have had no trouble following the story’s flow. The plot was good, and the story’s pace was about right, not too quick or too slow.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot is lovely, but seeing the female – Fengjiu – fall madly in love with Dong Hua becomes tiresome. Because DH is a chilly guy, you should be prepared for some serious heartbreak. But you’ll feel horrible for Fengjiu, who had her heart broken multiple times in the first ten episodes. It appears to be mostly owing to her lively but naive personality, but it makes you feel sorry for her. In comparison to other xianxia dramas, the mortal realm was fairly light.

In-Depth Analysis

When Feng Jiu, a girl from Qingqiu, is cultivating in the mountains, she is attacked by a monster. At the vital moment, Emperor Donghua comes to her rescue. Fengjiu persists on pursuing Donghua and fighting the demon Miaoluo in order to retaliate. Gradually, she realizes that her thanks has transformed into love for Donghua. For thousands of years, however, Donghua has forgotten the term “loving” in the fight against evil. Feng Jiu pursues Donghua into the Mortal Realm to repay him, but his companion dies in the process of protecting her. Fengjiu joins the magical dreamland of the princess of the wing tribe, Alan Ruo, in search of the famous fairy fruit that can bring people back to life. While attempting to save Fengjiu, Donghua discovers that he has fallen in love with her. Donghua is currently suffering from a serious injury and is aware that he will die shortly. He can only hide his feelings for Fengjiu in his heart and record them in a book on the pillow. Fengjiu, disappointed, discovers the book and experiences Donghua’s intense feelings for herself. So she goes to the battlefield and does her best to overcome the formidable foe, succeeding in assisting Donghua in maintaining world peace. In the end, righteousness triumphs over evil, and light triumphs over darkness. Donghua and Fengjiu have finally found happiness.

Star Power

It’s a joy to observe Bai Feng Jiu studying, cooking, and crafting weapons, as well as her sword fighting abilities. Her character has an incredible intrinsic strength, thus she is more rounded in this rendition. She goes for it when she wants something and believes it is even somewhat feasible. Her perseverance is quite remarkable. When she realizes it’s not possible, though, she lets go. She’s not going to let fate define her.

Overall Opinion

This drama’s cinematography is stunning. For the most part, the scenery, locations, and even the CGI were visually appealing. There’s a lot to look forward to in the drama, which appears to be closely following the novel plot line.
